Hi everybody!
Newbie here but looks like a good place to ask.

I am trying to find out about a striking TV actress of the 80's. I believe she was of eastern european descent, which at the time was quite unusual. Unfortunately, whilst her face was memorable, her name and what programmes she appeared in doesen't seem to have been!
I seem to remember her name being something like Elena E...... something. I also seem to remember there being some controvesy surrounding one appearance where she was ravished against a tree! Strange what sticks in the mind isn't it!
So if anyone else remembers anything I would be grateful.

Erika Eleniak? She was in ET as a child then in Baywatch and Under Siege.

Guess I should have narrowed it down to British TV.
Pretty sure the controvesy was pre/post watershed issue and there was widespread coverage in the press. Wouldn't have done any harm to the viewing figures!

The only east european actress i know of in the 80's and earlier,was Anouska Hempel.Her films have always brought controversy.

I think she was the girl that Elliott kisses at school when he got drunk due to ET drinking all the beer in the fridge at home.

Definately not Erika Eleniak. Didn't know she even existed until Baywatch! She is would have been too young and blonde.
Not Anouska Hempel either. She would have been too old and blonde. Only remember her from UFO!
Of course I could be miles off but I distinctly remeber her being a very attractive brunette with striking eyes and possibly a wedge hairstyle, probably in her 20's. She may have been either of Polish/Czech descent but was exotic for the time.
I don't remember her having an English name and the initials EE have somehow stuck in my mind!

No unfortunately not.
It would have helped if I could remember what programmes she may have appeared in. Guess its going to be pot luck spotting here in some ancient rerun.

You say a blonde eastern european girl? the only one I remember in the 1989 series Capital City was a young Investment Trader called (pardon my spelling here folks) Circa? (sounded like Sirka) she married another Bloke from the same bank called Declan McConoche?

Is this the girl in question?
