Pipkins magazine?

I know there was a TV show called Pipkins, but was there also a comic or magazine with the same name? The reason I ask is I'm sure I remember a friend getting a magazine that came with free yellow scissors that I was hell bent on wanting. I never got the magazine (or the hallowed scissors) in the end but I'm sure she said it was called pipkins or something similar. It probably wasn't out for long as I have no other memory of it. Perhaps it was a tie-in with the show?

Ah! It was probably Pippin :). Amazed I never ever got a copy or knew what it was about. Ran for 20 years from 1966 to 1986.

I occasionally had Pippin when I was very young, along with Buttons.

I received Pippin weekly and I can still remember the thrill when it dropped through the letter box.
