Dalek I love you were a band from Liverpool,had a few singles by them..
its one of their songs
It's called Destiny
They later became part of Teardrop Explodes

I don't think it was a group, just a song with those words in. The goup(i've been told and am not convinced' were quadrophinia. I think that's spelt correctly. It was a 'comedy' song, with the last line being 'and your nickers have been welded to your bum!' or sum such thing
