cars with the big wheel in the middle!

Just by accident i have come across the name of the cars you used to be able to get in the mid seventies with the big black wheel in the middle and the pull cord. REVRODS!!!!
There was a post on here somewhere about these, I used to have one and couldnt remember the name, it has been bugging me ever since.

My brother had the Pink Panther one. He lost the "Pink Panther" for it shortly after (in our old house in London) then one day it just turned up about 20 years later at the house we'd moved to in Essex! (we assume it was the same one, it's a bit random if it wasn't). :confused:

The soft nose was a token gesture to avoid damage. We always got told off for hitting the skirting boards with the PP car and my Stock Car Smashups. So we'd play in the kitchen where we had a stainless steel running board instead, noisier but didn't damage the painted skirting boards. ;)
