I am trying to recall the name of a song which came out during the mid 80's (?) I think it was a minor hit and might have been called "What do I do if I wanna' get through to you" ... OR "What do I have to do to get through to you" - no matter how you try you always keep me waiting ... It was a little Disco / soul sounding ... Anyone remember this, please?

Mid 80's?? dunno, Kylie did a disco song with those lyrics, but it wasn't that long ago

Hya Huggie74 - no it wasn't Kylie -I should have said that It was a group or sounded like a group and they were a bit soft spken sounding - kind of like "style council" ... but I don't think it was style council ...

It might have even been 83 or 84 but I had it on a compilation album which was released in the mid 80's ... so that makes it a dodgy clue ...

Many Thanks, once again, to Daz and Huggie ! While you find it I was busy checking out Kylie's songs just to make sure it wasn't by her - which of course it wasn't. (- Got to thinking that she might have done a cover version of it)

Many thanks for this - I have spent the last 3 weeks trying to find this on various sites on the Web and driven friends crazey humming the dam tune - or tying to!!! - should have come to DYR in the first place !!!
