Is it just me or does anyone else have memories of Jammy Dodgers having like a full layer of jam between the two halves?

When you eat them now the only jam is where the cut-out in the top half is, but I got a memory of a full layer right to the edges between the two sections of biscuit; the cut-out was just to let you see the jam.

Real or false memory?

Yeah - I think you're right Danny. I can recall the jam going to the edges as well once upon a time.

Probably. Are you confusing them with Happy Faces?
They had much more jam in. I always found Jammie Dodgers
too dry.

Wasn't just me then.. .

I came out with this observation not long ago and wife & in-laws all stated that Jammy Dodgers had always been like that - I counter claimed they just couldn't remember and seeing as I was the "biscuit scoffer extra-ordinaire" I was an expert - they jeered!

grrrrr.... after years of moaning that wagon wheels are smaller and now allways taste stale
and curley wurleys are so small now days they should just call them curls
someones reminded me of when a jammy dodger had more then just a small dollop of jam in the hole

i really miss the `70s/80s
