My dad passed away

My father died at the nursing home last night sometime between 9:30 and 9:45.
When my mum was here this morning she was telling me that she has a large glass cabinet.
She and my bro,Colin,were watching tv.They hadn't been told the news yet. Sometime around 10pm the glass cabinet rattled loudly 3 times as if there was an earth tremor.It had never done this before.

I'm not quite sure what to say. I think I was the last person to post a memmorial thread after my mum died. You havnt asked for any advice, but I just want you to know you are not alone and you have my sincerest sympathies.:cry:

I lost my dad 4 years ago too - so i know how you must feel, not only did i lose my dad but i also lost my best pal! It is a very difficult thing to come to terms with, but the only advice i can give is keep busy at all times and try to create some positives all the very best !
