Talk about the music events of the 70's, 80's and 90's. Did you go to Glastonbury or Live Aid? Have you seen Duran Duran in concert? Tell us all about it...
For me it was Five Star, at the Bournemouth International Centre. 4 costume changes, and it was sponsored by Ultrabrite toothpaste so we all got a free tube :D I should point out that I'm not proud of this ;)

I remember in 1991 I was only 17 (underage) all excited and overslapped with make-up and accompanied by a short skirt and heels to make me look 18 to get in to the tokyo joes club in town, were The hit man and her were staring that night. :D I got in passed the bouncers and walked up to the stage...
Just been to see the Abba Mania show tonight in Sunderland. It was fantastic, anyone who's a fan of Abba and the show comes near to where you live go! They looked like they really enjoyed themselves performing, and the singer who is Agnetha is a tremendous singer and performer, and Frida...
The new Ian Dury biopic opened this weekend. I suggest you get dahn yer local fleapit, grab a Kia-Ora, a King Kone and a box of Maltesers, settle back and watch Andy Serkis make his bid for yet another acting award. Superb stuff
It's not a memory but a forthcoming event ,they playing early August about five mins away from my house. Was all geared up to see em but at the weekend this Scottish bloke in pub mentioned them and said they were 'mince', everyone there grinned and nodded. Two queries: - What and why is...
Did anyone else go to this concert on June 30th 1984? The main artist was Elton John, but I only wanted to go to see my favourite Nik Kershaw! Also playing were Kool & The Gang and Wang Chung amongst others. This concert was so good.
How good was that Falmingo album! Just noticed he's playing at the Jazz Cafe in Camden on 4th and 5th December. Bookings - Jazz Cafe They've got quite a lot of good stuff coming up at the Jazz Cafe - not all just jazz I notice :-)
Went to see them at Harlow Town Park in my yoof. Great day ,very sunny ,and everyone just chillin' to the music ,which if I recall correctly ,cut out a few times due to the sound monitors!
Has anybody been to see any tribute acts, whom have you seen were they good or rubbish
Used to go see these when they first started out . Saw their very first gig at a little pub in Stratford, East London.
Ok, so we've had memorable gigs and so on, but what is the most embarrassing gig that you have ever been to that you will admit to (come on, we are all friends here!). Showing what a big eejit I am, and of course, that I'm game for a laugh, I'll go.... New Kids On The Block, Wembley, in about...
Ive been to quite a few concerts but the best ever has got to be the Who. We seen them at a festival near liverpool a couple of years ago after years of wanting to see them. Most of the bands on before them were ****, it was ******* down and we were freezing but when the who came on we forgot it...
I went to see Michael Jackson twice. First time was the Dangerous Tour, I was "dangerously" near the front at Wembley and nearly got flattened when he popped out of the stage at the beginning. Brilliant gig though. The second time was the History Tour, was abit further back this time so managed...
Hiya, Just wondering if anyone else is venturing to this festival? I was speaking to the promoter of this when I went to the Greatest 80s Party at Blickling Hall in July and she said ticket sales are going remarkably well and they're expecting about 30,000 people over the weekend. ...
Back in those hazy 80's I was given two tickets to Live Aid...I had been invited to a party so I decided not to go....and I actually said...it will be ****.....oh my god...I spent the day watching most of it...with the tickets in my pocket....as you can imagine I was called some names that...
I saw Quadrophenia, the musical of the classic 70's WHO LP and film recently and it was fantastic. Very true to the LP rather than the film. All the actors are mainly unknowns but after this show has finished then most should go on to other things. If you are a fan of THE WHO or loved the film or...
 It wasnt an official concert, but circa 1988 Bros were performing a one off thing at a nightclub in Croydon just before they got famous, not sure if anyone lived in Croydon and was a bros fan, but it was like a rugby scrum in that club when they were on stage. we were only about 13 but we...
Just back from Here and Now gig tonight. Started with Hazel O'Connor - really just there to make up the numbers. From what I remember she was a moody punky sort of singer, but she looked her age tonight with no stage presence. Couple of decent songs though. She sang Will You and Eighth Day...
Yesterday was the 40th anniversary of Abbey Road, where thousands of fans descended on the famous zebra crossing, where the famous four were on August 8th 1969. The story is in todays Sunday Express Was anyone there yesterday?
