Does anyone remember these? They were kind of combat styled trousers, that came in khaki/beige type colours, they might have done black too. They were SO cool in the late 70s, I bought mine from Flip! in Glasgow. They were unisex. Hoofers was actually the brand name on them and I recall...

Does anyone remember wearing a jacket in the 70s which came to the waist and was tightish fitting in a suedette material and had big like sheeps woolly sleeves? I seem to remember them being called teddy jackets, but I'm not sure.

Anyone recall the shoes, think they were from Clarks, with a compass in the sole? My nan used to manage a shoe shop, I remember havin a massive card board cut out of George Best on my bedroom wall she'd give me. she even served Tom Jones and George himself, which I always thiought was kool.
One novelty baseball cap that seemed to be around a lot in the mid 1980s had a foam rubber arm sprouting out holding a hammer. I remember Beat The Teacher featured one, for either the champion or challenger (I can't remember which one). A friend at school had some others, which might have been...
Calling all you girlies out there (and guys as far as that goes) does anyone remember 'Twice as Lasting' hair lightener? It came in a small fancy shaped bottle, it was like setting lotion and looked like bluey/lilac coloured water. It was a must for everyone that wanted to gradually lighten the...

I was 11 in 1976, and the highlight of the shopping trip with my Mum was to go to the Indoor Market and she would buy for me 2 hairgrips 15p each, and on each one would be a brightly coloured enameled stamped design ? I seem to remember a bunch of bananas, a strawberry, even cherries too, or...
I've noticed in the shops at the moment that cheesecloth shirts are popular again. Brilliant! Will definitely be buying some. My 2 favourite items of clothing in the 70s were my blue and white check shirt and a white and yellow stripe ankle length dress, both cheesecloth, both worn to death! :D
Does anyone rember the range of boys shoes from Clark's called COMMNADOS the had a small compass in the heal, and animal foot prints on the soles
Hello, In 1981 and 1982, all of us lads wore these small leather slip-on shoes. They'd be leather, and there wasn't much of them. We loved the way they showed off our white sports socks!!! (How things change, eh?) Some had a pair of tassles on the front. It was quite funny to see them...

Hey all you girls out there, do any of you remember chain belts. They were simply a length of fancy chain with a hook on it. that you worn around your waist to shape your otherwise shapless shift dress. Over the time they were fashionable they went from just chain to very fancy chain with beads...
DollyRockers (couldnt afford them), mocassins (still cant spell them!) and jellies (had a few pairs of them - gave you blisters!!)
I remember making these with my cousin (who had everything she wanted !) It was a copper disc either round or oval or peardrop shaped onto which you had different coloured enamel powders that you sprinkled onto - next, the disc was put into a tiny Kiln that you plugged into your domestic mains...
