Highlander the series

Did anyone else watch this series back in the 90's? I'm just about thru it all for the third time. I loved it (hence my third viewing lol). If you guys did see it what did you think?

I liked it a lot. But the irregular scheduling on UK broadcast made it almost impossible to follow on a regular basis. I missed large chunks of the ongoing story. So I never saw how Duncan's season 1 girlfriend died, nor how Ritchie became immortal, nor what happened after he was beheaded.
