80's sit-com

Can anyone shed light on a brill sit-com from the early 80's, that featured 2 brothers, one lived in house boat he was converting and the other was a 'jack-the-lad' type, always needing to be helped from a situation that he had no control over.....?? I think they only made 2 x 6parters then it just disappeared..........Hang on !!! .......think it was called Sink or Swim..............Anyone............?

It does sound like Sink or Swim, I've only ever seen clips of it though.

Peter Davison & Robert Glenister (brother of Phil) were reunited in the last 5th doctor story The Caves Of Androzani.
