Cold Tomato Custard....... beware if you read on!
Last week while sat in hospital with our youngest... (two weeks old and c/o an infection!) I was discussing this most wonderous of sites with one of the lovely domestics there....... yep its me the mad one from cubicle four if you are reading this!
We got on the subject of school days etc and I recalled a v ile playground rhyme we used to chant frequently........ not fo rthe faint hearted or those with a weak stomach!
Cold tomato custard,
Green snot pie
All mixed together
With a dead dog's eye.
Spread it on a butty
Nice and Thick
Then swill it down
With a cup of cold sick!

Ha Ha! I remember this one, although we had a slightly different variation. Our version went:
Scab and matter custard
Snot and bogey pie
Dead dogs giblets
Green cats eye
Spread it on bread
Spread it on thick
Wash it all down
With a cup of cold sick
Aren't we disgusting as kids!!!!

Yeah we were.... If we taught our kids these today we would be hauled up by social services!
Come on folks surely Sg and I werent the only kids with severe psycho issues back then.
