I hate those two songs - spent 35 years trying to forget them

Been enjoying reading this forum. Some of the tracks are awesome!

I produce a pre recorded radio show for Fuse FM in Balleymoney, Northern Ireland (I live in Wales and am English....just dont ask me how this happened lol) - Its a Disco and 60s 70s 80s and 90s show - I play a real mixture and its all request so if we have it I will play it.

The show goes out on a Saturday night between 9pm and 11pm. It would be great to hear from DYR participants - you can text in and request music for the show - the show can be heard by going here and clicking listen live. I go by the name of DJ Muttley (again dont ask!!).

If anyone does text from here I guess it would be good if you added "DYR" on your text then I will know where it came from.

We get listeners from all over the world....USA/Australia etc....and its always great to have people get involved.

So many songs such as this one that just get forgotten over time.

Interestingly enough, the song started out as a jingle for a Coca-Cola advert which is what I've always associated the song with.

                      Did it !?

Just presumed they adopted the track for their advert .

I preferred Never Ending Song of Love ..

Tragedy by the Bee Gees. Heard it today, the first time for many years.

Any song by Helen Reddy that isn't I Am Woman & Angie Baby.

Same with any Yvonne Ellimann song that isn't If I Can't Have You & Love Me.

                          Both very underrated singers.

I must admit I don't listen to the radio anymore or watch much TV anymore but it's been a long time since I've heard of Tony Orlando or Roger Whittaker.
