Another one I recall, was for Casio Watches. It was shown on TV around 1980 - '81. And...it featured this great track:

        Anyone besides me remember it??

This one is from the late 1970s. A guy and girl are sitting in the park or woods at night. I think the gal sprays her hair with some fixer, but then a gust of wind blows it out of whack. Then, the boyfriend who was looking the other way, turns to her and sings: "Moonlight becomes you, it goes with your hai-!" He stops when he sees what a mess her coiffure is in.
I remember that one well - loved it when I was a kid! Anyone remember the one for Rise and Shine powdered orange "juice", where the wife says "good morning Darling Rise and Shine" and he groans ( I think maybe he moans it's Saturday) and she says "no,Darling, Rise and Shine ORANGE drink" .

            And the classic-

            - Oh mum, I can't sit my exam blocked up like this
            - Course you can Malcolm, use this.
            - Vicks Sinex Nasal Spray ? Oh, MUM.........!
            - Now Malcolm , Vicks Sinex will clear your nose for up to 8 hours
            (cynically) - 8 hours!!!!

Later Malcolm comes home and Mum (played by Barbara New) says - How'd you get on then?
            - Vicks Sinex? Great! Didn't need it once!
            - No no no, the EXAM silly!
(sheepish) - Oh, Er, um, that smells good Mum.

                Re: Forgotten adverts.

This is a strange one late 60's i think, a commercial for eggs only saw it once or twice very bizarre to me as a youngster, almost abstract, bearing no relation to the product which i'm sure was eggs. Perhaps some techie/computer whizz could find some info' on it?
                Sure i didn't dream it.

It would help if you told us something about the plot.

                    Re: Forgotten adverts.

No plot, just a montage of images, i remember this because mum said what the hell is this advertising, then the final frame came up eggs, i know it sounds mad but i'm sure about this. Weather any info exists in some ad archive remains to be seen, i only saw this once or twice, so it was quickly dropped and you can see why, way ahead of its time.

Maybe it was one of the 'Go Smash an egg' campaign ads?
Not the one you remember but heres one

                              Re: Forgotten adverts.

This memory is a little sketchy, but here goes.... There used to be an advert around 1972/3/4 with a man and woman sitting in an old car, possibly an old Austin. They seemed to be lost and have taken a wrong turning. The woman seemed to take little interest in where the man, her husband, is going. She is sitting there knitting oblivious to anything around her. The man gets out of the car, possibly to ask for directions, while his wife sits there knitting. He has ended up in a scrap yard. While he is talking to somebody, the cars gets picked up by a crane. The shot then goes back into the car. The woman carries on knitting oblivious to what is happening..... I can't remember what happened next, it may have been some information being given. I don't think it was a Public Information Film.
Who cared about rules when you were young?
