              Re: Very British

Living abroad I probably think of Old Blighty more than most and the very "Britishness" of it. I usually miss the things I can't get in Spain and one of them must of course be....roast beef and yorkshire puds !!!

                Re: Very British

Just been thinking about a Sunday roast beef and Yorkshire pudding pub lunch and it reminded me of it's essential partner ...that quintessentially British beverage....a good old pint of best bitter !!

Hose-pipe bans !! Sorry to bang on about living in Spain but....a very dry arid country with very little rain....lived here 10 years now...never seen a hose-pipe ban of any kind....UK...rain all year round...1 week of sunshine...hose-pipe ban !! Surely a very British thing !!
