Apparently Currys have said that once existing stock is gone they won't be restocking
I've got a little collection of tapes that'll I'll always keep, just to remind myself. Sure it's easy enough to just dump them on the computer (saw this the other day - http://www.firebox.com/product/1700?src_t=t20 ) but it's not just the same. I'm keeping a select number of LPs, too.
They've been more or less dead for about 10-15 years now, I'm surprised theyve lasted so long.
What happened to DAT,MiniDisc, and all the other cassette replacements?![]()
They couldnt keep up with cd's
I've still got a stack of mini discs and a md player in the car. They were a nice step on from the cassette and the sound was at least equal if not better than an Mp3.
I never got to muck around with DAT
I am trying to find out who made a collection of cassettes that I had when I was little. It was a Yellow Bear that held about 10 cassettes of children's songs in it. I would love to find one for my daughter. If anyone has any idea I would love to hear them!![]()
wow!! that woke me up![]()
