OMG - Don't Look Now PETRIFIED ME as a kid.

My grandad watched it once when he was looking after me. I was about 6, and he put it on assuming I would ignore the telly and just play with my toys. I used to always sit behind the sofa while I played.

I haven't ever watched it since, but i still remember the red coat, and screaming when my mum bought me a red duffell coat the next winter.

Just watching that now made me go cold.

I bet if I had watched it as an adult I wouldn't even think it was scary!

Does anyone remember a programme that was on one halloween called ghos****ch? I was a kid when that was on, and it scared me too. I recently bought the DVD and watched it and looking back it was so rediculous, I don't know how I ever did find it scary! lol

Seen most of them except beast in the cellar( was Oliver Reed in that one?) Saw loads of dodgy 70's horror while dating Mrs P. The film industy was in the doldrums in the early 70's( till Star Wars) and our local flea pit only ran a cheap horror and soft porn double bill on a Friday nite. Still bus fare, two tickets and chips on the way home for a round £1 result.

Seen all those except Black Christmas. There were some genuinely creepy films in the 70's before the slasher movie took hold and the audience demographic changed forever.
