Vague memory of boardgame

Sorry if this is very vague but all I can remember was maybe a tube in the middle and you had to pull these strings to make this sort of cup thing which may have held marbles in it to the top and it would tip the marbles in the tube. It must have been early, mid 80`s and we got it second hand from someone so may have had pieces missing.

When you say "strings" Yelever do you mean like laces?

To be honest I`m not sure as the memory is really faint. I woud say just normal string but could be wrong. Sorry I`m not much help. Just remembered some more. You would pull each string in turn (i.e. there was 2 strings for each player attached to either side of the cup thing) to make it go up.

i remember having a similar game, was a palm tree with 4 monkeys on strings, u had to pull each of the strings to make the monkeys climb and drop coconuts into the top of it, i think the coconuts dropped through the middle of the tree into 4 spaces at the bottom.
