BMX boys have a lotta fun!

...cheesy song from the 1980s, but us BMX boys really did have a lot of fun.

In the early 1980s I had an original chrome Haro Freestyler with Skyway Tuff wheels, it was the dogs knackers.

We would go out from morning to night doing jumps and making ramps from whatever we could find.

Would love to ride a BMX now, but at 6ft 2in and approaching 40 I think I’d look weird, to say the least.

Oh, that song!! It was the song that the girls sang out to take the mick when you were STILL enjoying your BMX'ing at the age of 15. They needed to shame you off your BMX so you could be 'all mature' like them and spend the year sat on walls doing nothing.
