Passed away yesterday after having cancer for several years.

Very underrated musician, although highly thought of by many fellow bass guitarists.

He didn't get as much attention as the charismatic lead singer of Japan, David Sylvian but I found him absolutely fascinating to watch. I saw Japan live on many occasions.

Mick Karn worked with a lot of other musicians including Midge Ure and Kate Bush, also Pete Murphy (Bauhaus) with whom he formed Dali's Car.

I didn't want him to get missed off here.

A sad loss. R.I.P.

A member announced the news here on the forum that he had diagnosed with advanced Cancer back in June last year.
