Pinboards

Did anyone else have a pinboard in their bedroom when they were a kid? The first one I got was a My Little Pony one but on Christmas morning when my brother and I opened our presents my parents had gotten the two mixed up and when I opened mine it was an A-Team one and his was My Little Pony, much to his disgust
I upgraded to a bigger one when I was a teenager (plain this time) and would pin everything to it, concert tickets,photos,old bus tickets-anything really...
Anyone else get into this or was it just me???

i had to make do with some cork tiles from B&Q , did the job though

I had a pin board but I've no idea why. I never used it. I was a basic cork one from Habitat with multi-coloured pins and sat on my wall for years. I must have got it as a present.

I had something similar one Chrismas but made good use of it. After a few years the backboard started to wear out from so many pins being stuck in & removed, & after some redecoration it was taken down & replaced by another.

It might still be in my parents garage if it wasn't thrown away.
