  • Who can remember when Footy Mags were good ...?

Like Match, Shoot and 90 Mnutes ..

I'd always buy 2 of the 3 each week if not all 3!! Not like Footy Mags are Today. I've found one I had even from 2000 which is very decent with the content

Half of them now are not worth the paper they are printed on I think! Which did you like best most? For me I have to say 90 Minutes

Ahh, 90 Minutes. I remember Juliette Lewis.

They used to do these fantastic caricature calendars every year. I still remember Alan Hansen as Captain Scarlet.

Match also had league ladders, I remember my brother having one but found it a faf to keep doing.

Thyey were a faff, I'd do them for the first couple of weeks of the season then lose interest, much easier to look at the league tables in the magazines/newspapers.
The only thing to look forward to is the past

remember The Hornet, with their 'gallery of sport' star on the front - drawn image of player and a cartoon strip about their career

Indeed Richard, I recall them very fondly! I have at least one left I think (though not from Match but from the Panini 1990 Sticker Album) though I may have some from Match too!

I would always look forward to unique-styled gifts from the magazines like these!!
