WindRunners (Nike, Adidas etc)

I remember these now from the 1st time around and thought they were not as good in the 80s, but am unsure but still think they are great either way! What do other members think about WindRunners?

I still have an original Windrunner Hooded jacket, which I bought waaay back in 1984, somewhere buried within my wardrobe.

I wouldn't even look at the new ones.

I don't know if i'm honest! I think the WindRunner's this time round are 1 thing tha has been relaunched - that can be called a sucsess!!

We called them windcheaters..specifically Nike Windcheaters, in the StreetWave/Electro early 1980's. I haven't seen the modern ones but I had a silvery grey & white one, in 1983/84. Recall there were also black & white ones and maybe blue and white ones too.

In my day, to the 90s more so, they were popuilar (still are me included) to wear them over a Tracksuit Top or with it when Colder but mild weather. I don't know if this is popular may-be in other areas?
