Frank (Chris Sievey) also wrote a couple of ZX Spectrum games, The Biz and Flying Train, details of which are available on WOS. I played The Biz quite regularly but never got a record above the top 25, rock hard!

Hated him. I remember he used to appear on kids t.v. too like Get Fresh, No.73 etc.

Don't know him but it must have been very awkward for him having his bottom on his side.

Yes he was singer and a comedian from manchester, he liked football to and would appear at football grounds!! When i dressed up as him, i made his head out of paper mache, and wearing it on my head was very hot and going round shops to try and find old badges for his suite top!!

I first remember seeing him on TX, the summer filler show in the Number 73 slot.

He had a show on Picadilly Key 103 called Radio Timperley, which was fairly funny, including spoofs of current-ish pop songs.

he must have been in his late twenties early thirties when he became frank sidebottom.
never knew he was only 54 when he died.
i heard he was recovering from an operation to remove a tumour on his chest when he collapsed at his home in greater manchester.
