  • Co-op Bubble Bath

This is a long shot, but I wondered if anyone remembers a particular range of Co-op bubble baths that were around in the early '70s?
Back then, the Co-op was more than just a food chain- they sold pretty well everything, and had department stores as well as supermarkets. When I was VERY little, my Grandma used to take me to the Aberdare branch (now long since demolished) in South Wales, and on several times bought me a bottle of bubble bath. The range came in transparent plastic bottles shaped like vehicles- green bath in a bottle like a steam locomotive, and pink bath in one shaped like a racing car. There may have been others as well, but if so I never saw them. I think the racing car had TWO screw-tops, one for each 'headlight', and the fun was that you could play with the empty bottle when it was all used up!
I can't have been more than 3 at the time, so we're talking c.'72-ish- does anyone else remember these too? I know I didn't dream it or anything!!
