  • School, Series of Learning to Read Books

This has bugged me for a while now, hope someone can help, my memories are sketchy but will do my best.
They were a series of 'learn to read' books we used at school, mid 80's, but they probably go back futher, various stages which were colour coded, plastic covers, not may pages for each, very thin, I do remember a bookcase full of them.
It featured Farm Animals, a Pig certainly, and I remember an open Truck of sort, and for some strange reason a 'Bucket' pops in my head.
    Thats all I've got, anyone?

Do you mean the 'Through The Rainbow' books? http://cultreading70s.blogspot.co.uk...h-rainbow.html

Thanks for the reply, but no, it's not them, I did have a browse on that blog before I posted (found the link on here)

Come to think of it, from the link above, the 'Broken down Lorry' rings some bells as a possible title, only, those look hardback, I'm sure the ones I remember had plastic covers.
