  • Melbourne House 'The Hobbit' opening fanfare music?

I've been humming a tune for a while and I suddenly remembered where I knew it from - it was the opening fanfare from Melbourne House's 1982 classic adventure game 'The Hobbit' for Commodore 64. Only one problem.....

Which classical work is this tune from...?
Their light of pocket torch, of signal flare,
Licks at the edge of unsuspected places,
While others scan, under an arc-lamp's glare,
Nursery, kitchen sink, or their own faces.

The opening fanfare is from Verdi's Aida, Act II, Triumphal March (Marcia in Italian)
