RIP Francis Matthews 1927-2014

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Francis Matthews the other day.
For those who may not know he is probably best known by Gerry Anderson fans for providing the voice of Captain Scarlet as well as portraying suave detective Paul Temple on the Beeb.
He also famously appeared alongside Morcambe and Wise.
A Great and charming English actor with a velvet voice reminiscent of Cary Grant.
He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

was really saddened to hear this news he was a very recognisable face in the hammer films.

He was also in a couple of the Miss Marple films with Margaret Rutherford, good actor.
