Hello... can anyone help with this one?

I remember a film with a young lad (i thought it was the ET guy but imdb proved me wrong) he lives near an old disussed flooded pit, which he believes contains a monster.... during the story i think there is a shaman type bloke.... the ending is that the lad goes out on to the lake and gets sucked into the monster.... the monster turns out to be an old digger....... annyone??

    thanks and marry christmas

In the UK, it was called The Go Kids, which might be why you didn't get it, Oggy?

I'm in the UK as well, but my Google search gave me both titles.

'I'm a great big brave old Hector!'

I used to adore it when I was a child, and picked up the DVD last year. Puts a lot of contemporary children's titles to shame...

My mind must be out of synch - when I read 'an old digger' I just thought right away of a fat Aussie shearing sheep!
