  • Forgotten game shows

There's a thread like this on the digitalspy forum and I thought it might be a good idea to post one on this forum.
What short lived game shows can you remember? I know of several.
    Lucky Numbers
    Talking Telephone Numbers
    Steal
    One False Move
    Love at First Sight
    Trivial Pursuit
    Runway
    Catchword
    Spellbound
Two game shows involving video games, Games World and Head to Head
And American Nickelodeon imports, Guts, Get the Picture and Legends of the Hidden Temple.
I'll see if I can think of any more.

I remember Turnabout was 2 games in 1, contestents had to answer a question where the answer had the same 3 consecutive letters for the round, then rotate a sphere to their colour. The sphere board was like a larger Noughts & crosses board, being 4 x 4.

There is a website with a lot of TV quizzes formats on it, not sure of the name.

Yes, I remember Shafted hosted by Kilroy. "To share or to shaft"
            Another game show remembered: Keynotes.
Was Turnabout the one that had a "pond" on the set?
As for Games World, I only liked The Eliminator and Beat The Elite episodes. The others were mostly about reviews and cheats.
Here's a youtube channel with several Games World episodes if you're interested.

                    Re: Forgotten game shows

Odd One Out: Beeb game show circa 1981, hosted by Paul Daniels.
Cross Wits: One of ITV's daytime games shows, which I think featured crossword puzzles
Gambit: Surely everyone knows this was with the irreprecible Fred Dinage.

Anyone remember a dating show from the early 1990s, which was basically like Runaround; Females had to answer a male contestant's questions, by standing in the right spot on the studio floor. It was just a disguised game show with Davina McCall.

I remember Odd One Out because it was the first time I remember seeing Paul Daniels not doing his magic show.
