  • Sinister Kinder Surprise advert

I'm sure that some of you will remember the deformed, ominous and daunting Humpty-man from the Kinder Surprise advert in the '80s. I recently got hold of a copy, and it's still just as harrowing now, some 20 years on.

Not only does he look like a Bosch vision of hell, but he speaks gibberish in his own whining voice.

No wonder so many of us grew up deranged!

If anybody wants a copy of the ad, drop me a PM and I'll email it out; it's a simple 4MB AVI file, and breaches no copyright laws whatsoever (I like to cover my back and check!)

Sounds scarey with your description Smarty, vaguely recall him, maybe he should have been sitting on a wall, and pushed him off!!!!

Is that an actual toy that came out of a kinder egg?

My brothers and I had hundreds of the toys, I especially remember the Mexico 86 mascot Pique, the little cars that you pulled back and they sped off, and the little footballer that you pushed down his head to make him kick. Looking at the kinder man again, he looks familiar. I reckon we must have had him too.
