I also won a game called big money, but can only remember it had big gold and silver coins, about the size of a wagon wheel but twice as thick anyone know it?

                  Escape from Colditz
                  Flying Hats
                  Monopoly
                  Sorry!
                  Haunted House
                  Buckaroo
Pit (a commodities trading game - sounds boring, but it involved a lot of excited yelling)
Totopoly (a horse racing board game)
                  Scrabble
                  Scream Inn

                  Chess (I don't remember a time when I couldn't play chess...)
The candle flame gutters. Its little pool of light trembles. Darkness gathers. The demons begin to stir.

I remember having the pacman board game, you had to run around the board and pick up all the white pellets without getting caught by a ghost, if you picked up a power pill you could send the ghost of your choice back home

It used to annoy me - the pellets used to roll everywhere

Hotel & Monopoly. We had some brilliannt games of that in the winter of 76, some had to be continued the next day.

Got a origonal Hotel game from then still & complete.

Frustration has & will be a classic for years to come i'm sure.

Used to play Escape from Colditz a bit, also liked Treasure of the Pharoahs, Alley Cats and Tank Command (not technically a board game). I also used to make my own board games and sell them to my friends at school for 10p each. LOL!

I liked Monopoly although I remember playing it with my older cousins and not quite "getting" it
I loved a game called "the amazing labyrinth" which I never had myself but all my friends did.
Also used to play Nine Men's Morris and Draughts with my mum a lot
