Its been my experience that most support acts I 've seen over the years have been pretty woeful....so in time honourned tradition.. your best and worst

Best-Doctors of Madness supporting Be Bop Deluxe circa late 70's 15mins of fame then oblivion. Took Bill Nelson some time to work the crowd round.

Worst- Some Aussie heavy metal crew supporting U2 early 80's. Had to walk out truely awful.

Lordy..seen some truly dreadful supports over my many years of gigging..

    worst for me..
Screech Rock. supported Hawkwind 1988,does what it says on the tin.Screamed over some backing band wearing fluorecent clothes

The Visitors.. supported Scars at the ICA 1981
same bill featured early london show by Cocteau Twins, who were superb, but scary. The Visitors just banged some metal pipes for a while

more as I think of them..

    good supports..

    Cocteaus as above

Tears for fears supporting Thompson Twins (Hammersmith Palais)
    Scars supporting The Church (Venue)
    Josef K supporting Scars (Venue)
The Alarm supporting Big Country (Lyceum)

    more later..

zed yago supporting W.A.S.P in '89......they were aaaaaawwwwwful.

      Good supports:
