Did anyone else save up the tokens with Kellogs Cornflakes to send off for a Rumbletums cereal bowl? Me & my sister both munched our way through tons of cornflakes just to get these. I've still got mine at home - in mint condition. I'll bet it's worth millions .

It was back in 1984 they had this promotion (wow, 23 years ago!!!)

I thought I was the only person to remember rumbletums, I mentioned it a few weeks ago when commenting about milkfloats on Flickr:

I don't remember Rumbletums, but I was watching the November 1984 edition of Crimewatch UK on YouTube, and saw a reconstruction 35 minutes into the programme where an elderly lady has her TV set on, and an advert for Kellogg's Corn Flakes can be seen with the late Brian Glover mentioning "Rumbletums" - interesting that they would show that on screen on a BBC programme. The reconstruction was set in 1983, a year before it was seen on the programme, and so, the advert was on in late 1983?

I would have posted this in the adverts section, but as Rumbetums is mentioned via the search facility hence this thread, I decided to post it here instead. I assume that anyone remembers Brian Glover doing that advert? Were they Kellogg's only?

                      Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2RiCW3iUTk&t=2110s

                      I'm having so much fun

I remember some kind of decorated plastic cereal bowl you could send off for but it wasn't this one... must been a bit earlier. I wanted one but then I wanted a lot of things.
