  • The Elves And The Shoemaker

Does anyone remember this ladybird childres book? I found a copy whilst clearing out my parents shed (they kept all sorts of cr*p from mine & my sisters childhood). It instantly brought back memories of reading the book as a nipper and being a bit freaked out by the thought of elves running around when you're asleep. Especially the illustrations in this book as they looked a bit sinister, rather than the helpful little scamps they were meant to be.

I think me or my brother had this Ladybird book, I hope my parents bring them down from the attic when my Niece is old enough for them.

We did keep some around like Tootles The Taxi.
