  • disco 45 and words

    who remembers disco 45 and words, they were full of lyrics of the top 40 i used to buy these every week and sing along to my cassette tape recorder , which i used to tape the charts every sunday, i must have only had the one cassette, as i taped over it nearly every week.

            A big night out in those days would not of cost much more than a pound, surely.
            I can recall my Dad telling me his wages were £15 a week once (but don't quote me on that)

              i remember my mum sent me up the shop with a pound note once , id only got about two steps and i lost it, it was rolled up in a note, i went back home and my mum hit the roof, she had the search parties out looking for it, i had to retrace my steps.

                Opps! I broke my Mum's favorite vase in the early 70's! she still goes on about it
