  • Skull Machine

Does anyone remember a toy by Denys Fisher called Skull machine? I have just dug mine out of my mums attic, because I have searched the internet and had no luck finding any references to it, to prove to myself that I wasn't going mad!! I will post some pictures soon, if I get time.
Hopefully, if it still works, I will have a go at making some skulls, shrunken heads or werewolf heads.
I think there was also a version called the chocolate machine?

If it still works, I make some up and post the photos.

The chocolate machine was the same machine, but using chocolate instead of plaster. The moulds were two eggs of different sizes and a bunny. It was possible to make plaster eggs or chocolate skulls if you wanted. I'll have to have a rumage in mothers attic to see if it's still up there.

The sphere is in 2 halves, as is the mould. You make up your plaster and pour it into one half of the mould, place the other half of the mould together and lock the 2 halves together in the sphere. Place the sphere on the machine which rotates it. Rotate the sphere until the plaster dried. You can then paint and decorate your model heads.
