  • Look In

Just picked this up to day while in town, a sort of best of the 70s of Look In magazine. It's got the usual cartoon strips and features on 70s music and tv, and it also has loads of adverts from the 70s such as Doctor Who and the daleks advertising weetabix. It also has original Look In competitions and offers, plus the tv listings for Christmas 1978 (ITV only of course). Well worth getting if you were a fan of Look In.

        Re: Look In

Every Friday my dad would buy me and my older sister a comic/magazine and a sweet each after work. My sister always got Look-In. I always read my comic (Whoopee) and then her Look-In, but she never wanted to read mine for some reason???

It was our treat of the week and we couldn't wait for Fridays to come.

                          Re: Look In

Please bear in mind those wishing to purchase the LookIn book, that there are two versions. The Cheaper Red cover, and the Yellow cover version.
Although almost the same, the Red version omits the covers gallery on the front inside/rear of the book and the print quality is not as good.
Both are reduced in price in most shops at the mo anyway.

This one is worth a look too, if you were an 80's child

                            Re: Look In

Last yr while sorting out the loft I came across a box that had various Look In's from 1976-1980's. I can remember looking through some and one in particular had a section on The Six Million Dollar Man. I must ratch them out and have another read.ea
Oh to be a kid again with a can of Top Deck on a hot summer day, now that would be good.

I found a good couple of dozen Look In when I was sorting my Mam & Dads spare room out. They were dated from various dates from 1976-early 80's.
