  • Hot Wheels

Hot Wheels were an equivalent to Matchbox or Corgi toy cars. Whereas Matchbox or Corgi toy cars were a scaled down version of the real thing, Hot Wheels were your more 'souped up' versions. What I mean by this is that that they were toy cars that had the 'Pimp My Ride' or 'Max Power' treatment. I remember having a metallic, lime green, Porsche 911 with yellow flames down the side! Sacrilege!
