Bendy toys i'm talking the foam/rubber kind, i had a mickey mouse till recently when i got him down from my mums loft he was disintergrating  think it was the poly bag that did it although years ago i got told to keep in in one,

well anyway i am sure i had a elephant for my bath made of the same stuff?? i can remember it being the orangey yellow colour and when i squeezed him water squirted out of his trunk, can anyone else remember the elephant??? or am i imagining he was made from the same "bendy" stuff??? would have been around 75-76

and can anyone remember or own a pair of "Bendy" slippers?? again the foam/rubber material?? my mum has got i think 2 pairs original in a box at her house, i know one is mickey mouse and think the other is pluto?? my daughter had 2 pairs a while ago she loved them but didnt last her long as the soon split think its the age lol

I had 2 bendy Mickeys - are yours with arms outstretched orange foam insides with metal wiring underneath? Mine went hard and crusty and I had to chuck them out and they just made a mess everywhere

I had bendy postman pat. He got bent so much eventually the wire started to poke out of him. Wouldn't be safe enough now. We lost his shirt and it looked quite wrong for a respectable postman to be shirtless. I remember him being an intregral part of a weekend of hilarity with my cousins. I am laughing now, my husband has called me a wierdo/

I don't remember if it was actually bendy or not but I had a Kermit the frog toy that you could stretch when I was a kid. The thing I remember most about it is that it smelt horrible.

Quite realistic, I don't suppose frogs smell very nice
The only thing to look forward to is the past

I had one when I was very young, can't remember stretching him much or smelling of anything other than that normal rubber smell.

Eventually the rubber began to perish toward the end & (I guess) he got binned when I wasn't looking.

One of my cousins had a Rowland Rat toy like the one in the Hamley's book.
