Oh Blimey !

I used to LOVE Butlins when all my kids were little. They enjoyed the freedom - being allowed to go wherever they wanted knowing that the 'Aunty and Uncle' Redcoats were looking after their safety. Even the little ones had their activities sorted for them.

Evening time and the bigger ones went to their disco and the little ones came to the Club with Mum and Dad and that's where we all met up at the end of the day. Back in those days the films on the Cinema were a bit out of date, but they were free entry, so the whole family could go at least twice in the week.

The kids enjoyed entering the Competitions too - Holiday Princess, Junior Tarzan, Mum and Daughter, Father and Son etc.

Those were the days ! Two of my lads enjoyed the life sooooo much, they both went to work there. One stayed eight years, the other ten !!
