Oh wow. Don't remember those. First round crisps that came to mind were Discos. Hyenas - thought of Cheetos, advertised by a cartoon cheetah, but that wasn't that many years ago. Glad you found what was bugging you. Do you remember a chocolate bar, from the 70s, I think, called a 'Swisskit' (unsure of that spelling!) - ad was set in the alps; skiing lodge, and as the person takes a bite, someone shouts 'avalanche!' - large amount of falling snow in the background - and the quote is 'no - have a swisskit'.

                      Re: Crisp Advert

Crisps are usually thin slices of potato that are fried and flavour added, ie Cheese and onion, ready salted, salt and vinagar, smokey bacon etc.Think you call them chips They do however come in different shapes and sizes, but they are basically a Potato snack

                        Re: Crisp Advert

I already explained that to her in the 'Crisps' thread. The trouble with this forum is that there are too many threads with similar names covering the same topics. Mostly started by people who don't read what's already here before starting new threads, or giving threads titles such as 'Do you remember...' which could mean anything. Then the threads just get lost and keep getting started over and over again.

Totally agree Steve we will attempt to sort out the old threads and merge them later tonight

Cheers mate, hopefully things will be easier to find then and won't keep doubling up.
