    Anybody put a name to this memory .
    About 40 years ago I remember loving a certain ice lolly .... I seem to remember it was sort of an ice cream lolly with a toffee/caramel centre !!

    The name Wizz or Big Wizz comes to mind !!??


    HELP !!!!

            Yep that's probably it -don't remember it being banana flavour though - unless it was a watered down flavour.

              Although the advert says " NOW banana flavour which suggest that the original WASN'T banana flavour - seem to remember it being vanilla!!

                Yep, I assume this was a second version of Wiz. No idea about the original, although with Leslie Crowther promoting, it must have been during his tenure as Crackerjack frontman, so mid-late 60's??
                The advert came from a late 60's comic (either Lion or Valiant).

                It can be very frustrating trying to find Walls stuff, as they don't seem to have an archive available on the net. There is a very good Lyons Maid site, although its not been updated in some years, but I'd have expected Walls to have a "nostalgia" section on their website, as in the 60s/70s it was either Walls or Lyons. Even Tonibell got bought out by Lyons.
                I've even emailed them about certain ranges, but get no reply.
                I assume the staff at Walls today are only 20's/30's themselves
