  • Shelly Winters

Many years ago, probably about the seventies, I watched a horror film with Shelly Winters as the leading roll.

It was about a woman who had children to come and stay with her.

They later discovered that she had her dead daughters skeleton in a locked bedroom and she used to go in a brush her hair (really creepy at the time!). As far as i Can remember the daughter had been sliding down the banister and fell off and broke her neck, and she just kept the body upstairs.

Can anyone help me with the name of this film?? I can remember being terrified at the time, but would love to know the name of it!

    Many thanks

                Re: Shelly Winters

I have "whoever slew Auntie Roo" on a Shelley winters double feature DVD. The interesting thing is that the other film is "waht's the matter with Helen" which is on the reverse side of the DVD - I have never come across a DVD which is playable on both sides - like a cassette. Is this more common that I reaslise and do I need to get out a bit more?

I think the only DVD I have which is double sided is Ben Hur.
