Now this might sound weird...... does anyone remember listening to "Sing Something Simple" on a Sunday night (I think Radio 2) probably in the sixties...... blimey what weird flashbacks I have!!

I remember it very well. It moved over to Radio one in the 1970's and was always on just before the Top 40.
It began with the Adams singers singing
"Sing something simple as cares go by, Sing something simple just you and I"
then a voice over would say something like,
"For the next half hour why not listen to sing something simple, along with the Adams singers directed by Cliff Adams. Not only listening but joining in with songs you know so well, so ...... " then the Adams singers would continue singing, "Sing something simple for me, something for me"Comment
