    Tiger bread?? anyone remember that?
Not the hard stuff you can get today called Tiger loaf, this was early 70's and in a long bag.It was red/yellow with a tiger on the front. the bread itself was standard sliced white, but no-one seems to remember it.
I only remember it 'cos when it was snowing, we would put the plastic bags over our socks then put our shoes on to stop them getting wet

          LOL Heather
Bump. Did anyone ever find a pic of "Tiger Bread"? If my memory serves me correctly it was an orange a white stripe wrapper with a pic of a tiger on it (doh!) I was talking about this to my mum the other day.

                Re: Tiger Bread

In those days you didn't get supermarket brands, only Sunblest, Mother's Pride, Tiger etc., unless you went to the bakers and got a nice warm crusty loaf.....

                  Hiya Karen
Last time this was discussed was in Defunct Sweets believe it or not !!
                  https://forums.doyouremember.co.uk/s...tail#post81163

It was metioned by Daz and several of us commented but no picture was found and it eventually drifted off as other things were posted on the thread.

You are right - it was a l o n g loaf and wrapped exactly as you described it

Thats the one! thats how I remember the logo being
like Tony the Tiger was how I always described it..
all we need now is the packaging.

I would love that badge but the seller wants too much

Something not quite right about this..the only other mention I could find was on another UK website for Celtic fans, so I assume it was available country wide..
but I found another two badges identical but again..an American seller, among other American badges

I think the badge we are looking at was for the US version of Tiger bread
