Can anyone help me. I used to read a comic UK in late 1960s? Now i can't remember what it was called or the strip names. My favorite was about a young chap who stood to inherit his grandfathers fortune, but first had to perform several sporting feats, winning Grand National, scoring in cup final etc. Another was football team comprising I think ex cons. And a Victorian escapologist, possibly Janus Stark. What was the comic. I think it was an amalgamation of two comics. I used to live for Saturday morning when I picked it up from Newsagent and used to walk home forcing myself not to open pages and look at it until I got home and settled with tea and biscuit to savor every word. Sad ain't it.

Smash is the comic you want. The other strip was 'His Sporting Lordship'
