Children's tv programme

I am trying to remember a kids tv programme, on the bbc I think. All I can remember is that it was about a child who was ill in bed and he/she started drawing a picture to keep herself amused but it turned out that whatever she was drawing was becoming real. I think it was turning into reality across the way from her bedroom window. All I remember is that it was really creepy. Can anyone put me out of my misery?

You're probably thinking of "Escape Into Night" which was based on Catherine Storr's book, "Marianne Dreams", either that or you're thinking of the movie "Paperhouse" which was more loosely based on that novel.
