  • 70's Childrens Book Help

    Hi,
I'm trying to remember the name of a children's book published in the 70's. The story centered around a boy who discovers that some of the kids in his school are actually part of a secret criminal organisation run by a girl codenamed Mistress K, they are using the school as a base for their operations and have even strengthened the school roof to allow them to land a helicopter. The boy has to overcome the gang and save his school. I recall it was written by a teenager who was the son a british Jazz musician but for the life of me can't think of his name either. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Don't think I haven't had the same problem! That's why I contacted you guys I'd been told that the author may have been called David Arlington who died in the early 70's but googling his name doesn't help. I might try contacting one of the sites from google (would a Dominatrix have read a childrens book?) great site by the way, kudos, kudos, kudos.

Unfortunately not Danny, I checked him out, the author I'm looking for was definitely British and would have been born in the 60's. It's a fairly obscure one so I'm not holding out much hope, thanks anway for the help.
