  • do you remember?

Hi there I am very new here and thought it a good place to try to find out about a 70's uk kids/family series drama show.

From my memory it was about a group of kids on a summer vacation or perhaps had been evacuated cos of the war, in the country somewhere. (the railway children come to mind, so maybe they were of similar aged kids) There was this old spooky type house that they stayed in. At the bottom of the stairs was human skull and the kids were told that if the skull was removed the house or family would be destroyed. Ultimately at the end of the series the skull had been removed and the house burnt down I believe.
The house was called dingley bottom or something like that.

Does anyone have a clue what it was called?
